Production Details Good rains leading up to the 2019 harvest improved conditions after previous dry years. Summer was cooler than previous years and expected to produce more fruit-driven wines. Temperature-controlled fermentation and aging. Fermented in 300L French oak barrels and aged on the lees for 8 months. 80% new oak and 20% older oak used. Irrigation: dry land. Trellising: 5 wire extended moveable Perold. Additional information: Kapokberg means "snowy mountain" and refers to the estate's highest hill at 459m above sea level.
