Production Details The juice was fermented and matured in a combination of 500L amphorae (7%), seasoned French oak barrels (57%), and a concrete egg (36%). Extended lees contact for seven months across all vessels has added depth and nuance without overshadowing the purity of the fruit. Crafted from a single block of Chenin Blanc planted in 2008 on decomposed Malmesbury Shale soils, this wine reflects its terroir. The vineyard's vertical shoot positioning and low yield of 8 tonnes per hectare contribute to the wine's concentration and balance. Handpicked grapes ensure optimal ripeness and integrity of fruit.
