Production Details Valley Road, Elgin Weisser Riesling from vines on a rocky outcrop in the cool-climate Elgin valley. Grapes were picked at optimal ripeness, cooled overnight to 4C, de-stemmed, given a few hours of skin contact, then pressed with no additives. The juice fermented spontaneously in older French oak and clay pots, received sulfur in deep winter, spent 10 months on the lees, then was blended and bottled.
