Production Details The Lanzerac Jonkershoek Reserve 2019 is a blend consisting of Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Petit Verdot. The grapes for each variety used in this blend comes from selected vineyards in the Jonkershoek Valley. All harvesting and pruning were done by hand with extreme care taken to not damage the grapes resulting in only healthy grapes being picked. The 3 varietals were individually fermented and matured in French Oak before careful blending and bottling. The Lanzerac Jonkershoek Reserve is a red blend to express the unique terroir of the Jonkershoek Valley. This expressive Cabernet-based blend is packed with aromas of black cherry, chocolate, spice and hints of cassis. Juicy and lingering aftertaste with a well-integrated tannin structure.
