Production Details Production: 1,100 cases. Our old-vine Chenin Blanc is planted in a hidden crook overlooking the valley, with an additional Chenin Blanc vineyard established in 2016 on deep decomposed granite soils high on the slopes of the Simonsberg. The 2023 growing season was moderate with a dry spring, and grapes arrived in excellent condition at the winery. The wine was fermented and matured in large-format concrete vessels, then left on the fine lees for 9 months with regular stirring. A small portion of the wine was left on the skins in clay amphorae, adding an unctuous, layered character.
