Production Details Named after the producer's great-grandfather, this flagship wine is sourced from individual vineyard rows of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc. Each parcel is hand-harvested and sorted twice in the cellar. Following fermentation, each cultivar is matured in barrel for 12 months, then the best components are selected for blending and matured for a further 12 months in barrel. After barrel maturation, the wine is aged for an additional 24 months in bottle prior to release.
