Production Details 100% Stellenbosch Petit Verdot from Blaauwklippen Road. Single-vineyard trellised fruit at 254m elevation. Grapes were cooled overnight to 4C, destemmed into open-top fermenters, fermented spontaneously, left on the skins as long as possible, then pressed into older small French oak barrels for 18 months before blending and bottling. Official tasting description says the wine is perfumy and fresh, from two sites: a lower-Helderberg decomposed granite property and a heavier site in the Blaauwklippen Valley.
Tasting Notes
perfumy, fresh
