Sites All vineyards are in the Helderberg region of Stellenbosch, close to the Atlantic. The Shiraz component is on a south-westerly facing Helderberg slope facing False Bay, while the Bordeaux varieties are on north-west-facing granite slopes of the Helderberg.

Barrel Size 300-litre barrels
Production Details Hand-harvested and carefully sorted fruit. The blend components were vinified separately. Barrel maturation took place for 14 months in a combination of 40% new and second- to fourth-fill 300-litre barrels, followed by a further 6-10 months ageing in foudre before bottling in the Boschendal Heritage bottle.
