Production Details The grapes were handpicked from five blocks resting on south-facing slopes and protected by a eucalyptus forest. Each block was vinified separately in stainless steel tanks and 5000L truncated open-top casks. Each lot was cold soaked for 4 days before fermentation. The Cabernet Sauvignon component underwent a two-week post-fermentation maceration to build structure before a 22-month barrel aging period. Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot were matured in 100% new French oak while the remaining varieties were matured in second-fill French oak.
