Production Details Chardonnay grapes were hand harvested from Blocks 11 and 16 on the foothills of Sir Lowry's Mountain Pass. Only free run juice was used. After cold settling, the juice was transferred into a combination of French oak barrels, concrete eggs and clay amphorae for fermentation and maturation. An extended lees contact of 9 months with regular batonnage was used to build mouthfeel.
