Production Details Wine of origin: Calitzdorp. Boplaas Cape Port wines are crafted in the style of Douro ports from full-ripe Portuguese varietals, fermented in traditional lagares with intense manual pigeage, fortified at the correct moment with grape spirit, and bottled lightly filtered. Harvest at 26 B with yield of 5 tons per hectare. Young Touriga Nacional vines and old Tinta Barocca vines planted in 1968. Wood aging listed in product attributes as 12 months in Portuguese pipes.
