Production Details Our vineyard planted in 1983 is the 2nd oldest Certified Old Vine Chardonnay block in South Africa. Hand harvested and whole bunch pressed, the juice rested for 24 hours before being racked into terracotta amphorae. Here, it matured for 12 months allowing natural oxygenation and subtle mineral expression. Gentle filtration preceded bottling to preserve freshness and complexity. The amphora accentuates the wine's texture and fruit purity, producing a weighty yet refined palate. This careful attention ensures a singular expression of this historic vineyard.
