Production Details Rooted on the lower slopes of the Helderberg Mountain with decomposed granite soils and cooled by False Bay breezes and cool night air. The vineyards are cared for by hand using organic and biodynamic practices without pesticides, herbicides, or chemical sprays. In the cellar, natural fermentations are carried out at controlled temperatures with no additives. The wine aged in French oak barrels for 18 months, with 40% new oak. The producer page also notes careful whole-bunch and berry sorting, remontage for extraction control, and recommends decanting before service.
