Production Details Crafted in Stellenbosch. Blend information on the official producer page lists 39% Cabernet Franc, 20% Malbec, 4% Merlot, 19% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Petit Verdot. Grapes were hand sorted three times, crushed, and cold soaked on the skins for 5 days. After fermentation the grapes were basket pressed and the wine underwent malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The wine was then aged for 16 months prior to bottling in French tight grain oak barrels: 20% second fill, 30% third fill, and 50% fourth fill. Fermentation temperature: 28 C.
